Annual Town Meeting

South Grove, Ill. March April 5, 1910. Annual Town Meeting held at the premises of Hugh McQueen.

Wm. R. Adee appointed Moderator. Motion and seconed [sic] that three hundred dollars be raised for township expenses. Motion carried.

Motion made and seconed [sic] that : On April 5th A. D. 1910, it is ordered by the electors of the Town of South Grove in the County of DeKalb in the State of Illinois, in town meeting assembled, that within nine months from this a new town hall be erected; that the same be erected on the site of the old town hall, namely, in the North East corner of the South half of the South West quarter of section Nine (9) in Township Forty-one (41) North, Range Three (3) East of the 3rd P. M. in said county of DeKalb; that the same be constructed at a cost not to exceed One Thousand Dollars, in addition to any and all material remaining on hand from the old town hall, which material is hereby ordered by said electors to be used in the erection of said new town hall: that said new hall be erected under the direction and supervision of three electors of said town, and that said three electors shall be selected for that purpose at this meeting by the electors of the said town of South Grove: that the electors so selected shall submit bills for all debts incurred by them for the erection of said new town hall verified by oath, to the board of auditors of said town.

And it is further ordered by said electors, assembled as aforesaid, that a tax of One Thousand Dollars be levied and it is hereby levied accordingly, against [continued on next page]
