Special Meeting of Commissioners of Highways of the Town of South Grove held at the office of Town Clerk.

Present W. H. Quinn, Henry Reimsnider and Henry Decker, Commissioners of Highways and W. G. McKenzie, Town Clerk, of said Town.

Whereas a petition signed by J. A. Dooley and others, asking that a new road be laid out through the center of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36 and the East half of Section 35, of said Township, was on the 18th of July AD 1911, presented to the Commissioners; and

Whereas certain irregularities occurred in the calling of the meeting in pursuance of said petition, in that three notices of said meeting were posted instead of five as required by law, and said Commissioners failed to endorse their decision on said petition and file the same with the Town Clerk; now therefore,

It is moved by Henry Decker that a meeting of the Commissioners of Highways be called for the purpose of examining the route of the proposed road and hearing arguments for and against the laying out of the same; and that said meeting be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on the 23rd September, 1911, at the East end of the proposed road, and that five notices of said meeting be posted in five of the most public places in said Township in the vicinity of the proposed road.
