At a meeting of said Commissioners at the residence of Malcolm McMurchy on the 20th day of January A D 1892 present Thomas Renwick Samuel Newell Malcolm McMurchy.  the [sic] report of said Surveyor being submitted to the said commissioners giving the courses and distances and specifying the land over which said road is to pass.  It was unanimously decided to change the route of said road between the termini so it should be as follows:

Beginning at a point One Hundred & sixteen feet South and Five Hundred Eighty nine (589) feet West of the Quarter Corner on the East line of Section 24, in said town of South Grove thence West One Thousand two hundred & one feet (1201) crossing the Chicago St. Paul and Kansas City Right of way thence deflect northerly Fourteen degrees. and Fifty two minutes Four Hundred fifty one (451) feet to Quarter Section line thence west on Quarter Section and its prolongation Four thousand four hundred and Two (4402) feet to North and South Quarter (?) line thence north on said line One Hundred and Thirty four (134) feet thence North Eighty four 84 degrees Eighteen minutes (18) West One thousand three Hundred & Twenty eight (1328) feet Thence South Eighty Two (82) degrees Thirty two (32) minutes West Seven Hundred eighteen (718) feet to a point in road running from South Grove to Malta.  Such change being in their Judgment required for the convenience and interests of the public.

And also at same meeting it was unanimously agreed and decided to settle damages with certain land owners in accordance with the following agreement filed with a copy of said order in my office; The undersigned owners of lands sought to be taken in establishment of a road above described agree with the commissioners of Highways of said town of south Grove DeKalb County, Illinois, to accept in full payment for that portion of the land so to be taken, belonging to us and of all damages for the taking of the same.
