Appeal

We the undersigned Supervisors of the Town of Franklin Pampas and Sycamore having met at the house of A R Adam R Miller in the Town of South Grove on the 10th day of November 1855 on the appeal of Adam R Miller and Samuel G Miller from the decision of the Commissioners of Highways of said Town of South Grove in relation to the assessment of damages to said applicants on a certain road as laid out and damages assessed by the commissioners aforesaid described as following To Wit Commencing at the quarter section stake on the line bisecting Sections 18 and 19 T41 N R3 E Thence east through Lands of the following named persons Jacob Reickard 20 chains and 30 links Jacob Reickard and Philander Waterman 20 chains Peter Rickard Aaron Mowers 89 chains and 80 links Adam Miller 39 chains and 92 links and Samuel G Miller to quarter section stake on south side of section 18. After hearing the proofs and allegations of the parties we order and decide that the said commissioners decision be to far reversed that we order that Adam R Miller be allowed the sum of one hundred dollars and that Samuel G Miller be alowed [allowed] forty dollars damages in consequence of laying out said road across lands of said applicant
