Division of Road Districts No 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9

The undersigned commissioners of Hiways [highways] of the Town of South Grove having met and deliberated on the subject embraced in this order all the Commissioners of Highways of said Town having been duly notified to atend [attend] the said meeting of the commissioners to deliberate thereon do hereby Order that the following public Highways of the said Town of South Grove shall be divided into road districts as follows

Road District No four described as follows commencing between Townships forty one and two at the quarter section corner on the north side of section four and thence running south the state road in section (9) nine

Road District No five described as follows commencing at the State Road on the section (9) nine and thence running south to the east and west road near Kelseys

Road District No six described as follows commencing at the quarter north side of Section (6) six at the quarter section line of said section and running south to the State Road on section (7) seven

Road District No (7) seven described as follows commencing at the State Road on section (7) seven at the south end of roadistrict [road district] No 6 and thence running south to the Town line

Road District No 8 described as follows commencing at the west end of A Highway Through the Township of Mayfield in the quarter Section line of (25) twenty five and running west to a road running north and south on Section (28) twenty eight

Road District No 9 nine described as follows commencing at the west end of Road district No 8 on section 28 and running west to Town line

In witness thereof we the Commissions of Highways of the Town of South Grove have hereunto subscribed our names this eight day of March A D 1856
