On Motion Voted That David Patten be Path Master for Dist No 7

On motion Voted That H L Boice be Path Master for Dis No Eight

On Motion Voted That there be a Tax of Two hundred dollars to pay Jonathan Adee for damages on Road Lost

On Motion Voted That there be a sum of sixty dollars to defray Town expenses

DeKalb Co Illinois

At a meeting of the commissioners of Highways of the Town of Franklin and South Grove in the County of DeKalb held on the 29th day of March A D 1856 it was agreed and determined and it is hereby ordered and declared that the Town line road between said Towns be divided and attached to each Town as follows. Commencing at the west Town line the first mile and a half is attached to Franklin the next mile and a half is attached to South Grove The next [mile] and a half is attached to Franklin and the last mile and half to South Grove

Given under our hands this 29th day of March A D 1856
