for a hearing on the budget.

At 2:00 P. M. the town meeting was called to order by the Moderator. Motion was made and seconded that the proposed budget be accepted. The Supervisor’s report was read and approved showing receipts of $3679.24, expenditures of $1934.05, balance on hand of $1745.19. The report of the Highway Commissioner was read and approved showing receipts of $9463.28, expenditures of $4144.37, balance on hand of $5318.91. Motion made and seconded that the town tax levy be accepted. The necessary amount of the tax required was $1550.00.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. There was an unusually large crowd at this meeting.

The meeting was held at the Town Hall at 7:30 P. M. Those present were C. G. McKenzie, F. H. McQueen, L. W. Holmes, Fred Goelitz, and George Jorgenson. All bills presented were ordered paid.
