At a meeting of the Commissioners of highways of the Town of South Grove in the County of Dekalb [DeKalb] at William P Deyoe in said Town on the twenty second day of July a majority of said commissioners having meet [met] and deliberated on the subject embraced in their order it is ordered and determined by the said commissioners and do declare the following described road to be a public highway as follows to wit Beginning at the corner of Section 32 and 33 on the line between Township 41 and 42 of Range 3 East of the third ? meridian and running thence east on town line 7 ch 45 links to the ¼ section corner on the North side of sec 4 in Tp 41. N R 3 East thence South on ¼ section line 74 ch 75 links to the ¼ section corner on the North side of sec 9 thence south 79 ch 67 links to the ¼ sec corner on the North side of sec 16 thence south 1 mile to the ¼ section corner on the North side of section 21 thence south 1 mile to ¼ sec corner on North side of sec 28 thence south 1 mile to ¼ sec corner on North side of Sec 33 thence South 79 ch 40 links to the ¼ sec corner on South side of sec 33 thence west on Town line 1½ miles to corner of sec 31 and 32 on the South line of said Township.

In witness whereof the Commissioners of highway of said Town have hereto subscribed their names this 26th day of March AD1852
