Fall Auditing Meeting                      Sept. 3, 1963

            The meeting was held at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall, with Hugh McQueen, F. H. McQueen, W. Beydler, E. Rand, J. Totman, and Geo. Tindall present.  After considering the request of the Highway Commissioner, it was moved by Tindall and seconded by Rand that the Board of Auditors approve the Hiway (sic) Commissioner’s program for the year 1963-64 and the estimated amount necessary to be raised by taxation to carry out the program, making a rate of .33 percent of the full fair cash value of the taxable property of South Grove Twp., and that the amount of such tax be $19,870.

            After auditing the books and paying the bills presented, the meeting adjourned.

Spring Auditing Meeting                March 31, 1964

            The meeting was held at 1:00 P.M. at The Town Hall with Hugh McQueen, F. H. McQueen, W. Beydler, E. Rand, and Geo. Tindall present.  After considering the request of the Highway Commissioner, it was moved that the Board of Auditors approve the Highway Commissioner’s program for the year 1964-65.

            After auditing the books and paying the bills presented, the meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting                    April 7, 1964

George Tindall was chosen as Moderator and at 1:00 P.M. said Moderator called a meeting for a hearing on the proposed budget.  At 2:00 P. M. the Town Meeting was called to order.  Motion was made and seconded that the proposed budget be accepted.  The reports of the Supervisor and Highway Commissioner were read and approved.  Motion made and seconded that the Town Tax be $5700.00.

            There being no further business, Meeting adjourned.
