Special Auditing Meeting March 16, 1967

Due to the fact that the Highway Commissioner would be away on the regular day, a special auditor’s Meeting was held at 2:00 at the Clerk’s home. Bills were audited and the Road and Bridge Fund budget was presented and accepted. Motion carried that the Commissioner’s salary be raised from $2500 to $3000 per year. Meeting adjourned.

Spring Auditing Meeting March 28, 1967

The meeting was held at 2:00 PM at the Town Hall. The Supervisor, Clerk and 3 Auditors were present. The Town Budget was discussed. Officers were paid. Meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting Apr. 4, 1967

George Tindall was chosen as Moderator and at 1:00 P.M. said Moderator called a meeting for a hearing on the proposed budget. At 2:00 P.M. the Town Meeting was called to order. There were 10 present. The budgets were voted on and approved. The Highway Commissioner’s report, the Supervisor’s report and the General Assitance(sic) report were all read and approved. The annual Town Tax levy was for $5450 with no General Assistance levy. There being no further business, meeting adjourned.

Special Auditing Meeting July 26, 1967

The meeting was held at the Town Hall at 7:30 PM. All Auditors, the Supervisor, Town Clerk and Highway Commissioner were present.

It was moved by Emmett Rand and seconded by George Tindall to raise the mileage allowance for the Assessor $100.00 per year for the next four years. Carried.
