At Regular meeting of Highway Comrs held at Town Clerks office at Clare Oct 1 – 04.

All Comr’s present. All bills paid and motion made that J JGlawe and Town Clerk go and take Counsel as to whether our action at meeting of Sept 21st – 04 was legal or not.

At special meeting of the Comrs of both South Grove and Mayfield held at the Town Clerks office, Clare, for the purpose of considering the question of an making an offer for tiling the Highway north of Clare. So Grove agrees to give $75.00, Seventy-Five dollars as their share toward tiling the highway providing Byers crosses the road twice and Townsend once. Money to be paid Apl 1st as providing tiling is then done.
