Spl Meeting held Dec 1-04 at Town Clerks office Clare Ills by Comrs of So Grove and Mayfield for the purpose of fixing a date for joint meeting of the Comrs of So Grove Mayfield Malta & DeKalb, date of which was set for Jan 5, - 05 Thursday 1 pm on the grounds for purpose of laying out new road, as described in notices dated Dec 22, 04 and which were posted Dec 23 – 04.

Duplicate of which was sent to Comrs of DeKalb & Malta Townships, Dec 26 – 04 by Town Clerk of So Grove. All members of So Grove & Mayfield Comr’s being present.

Petition for new road south of Clare filed with Town Clerk Nov 23 – 04 by John Anderson at 9 am. Also Seven copies of petitions, which were certified by me as to being true and correct copies of the original petition filed. Three copies of which were handed by me to each of the Township Clerks of the Townships of DeKalb Malta & Mayfield and also posted one copy in each Township Nov 23 – 04.
